About Dr. Gowey
Dr. Gowey is a Naturopathic medical doctor who looks beyond symptoms to understand the cellular causes of complex and chronic conditions. Her care may include herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, acupuncture, constitutional hydrotherapy, gene counseling and study, and IV or IM therapies. With a focus on conditions that can feel unsolvable—including chronic HPV and cervical dysplasia—she combines modern science with natural healing to create a thoughtful path forward.
Naturopathic Principles
Dr. Gowey’s work is guided by six core principles: first, do no harm; be a doctor as a teacher; use the healing power of nature; use prevention as cure; treat the whole person; and identify and treat the cause.
A Unique Physician
Dr. Gowey earned her doctorate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, now Sonoran University, in 2007. She founded Naturopaths International, a 501(c)(3), on May 1, 2007, and has 19 years of experience as a physician. Her path in medicine included volunteer work in domestic violence shelters in Nepal, Thailand, and Northern Arizona. After personally navigating Celiac disease and Lupus before medical school, she brings deep understanding and empathy to her patients. She also holds several patents for her unique medicinal formulations. She is the developer of multiple medicines for HPV/cervical dysplasia that she is currently pursuing to market.
